NB Clean Registry is a system utility for search and delete or cure invalid references of the Windows Registry.
NB Clean Registry is capable of doing lots of useful things and has the following features:
- A pleasant interface, both standard and non-standard.
- An option of playing music files such as MP3, MOD, STM, IT, ST3 during the long process of searching the Windows® registry for invalid references.
- An option of changing the appearance owing to the support for the skin technology.
- The invalid Windows registry keys are placed in a special list. From this list you can select those keys, which are, in your opinion, subject to deletion, and they can be deleted afterwards. As a rule, almost all invalid entries found in the registry of Windows® can safely be deleted, since in most cases they refer to folders and files, which have been deleted or renamed...
- A super-powerful, correct, and fast algorithm of identification of invalid references.
- An option to select for scanning only those root sections of the registry, which most frequently contain invalid references, thus reducing total search time.
- An option to search the WIN.INI file for invalid references.
- An option of scanning the registry using an exclusion filter. With its help, you can filter out the key phrases and words, which you don't want to be examined, if they are found in names of keys, values and in key values.
- An option to create undo files (regular REG files) when deleting invalid references found.
- The program has a built-in repair unit. After searching you can either delete invalid references or repair them. Repair implies an attempt to find the real location of a file for an invalid reference on all available disks and (provided the search has been successful) replace the invalid reference with a valid one at user's option.
You've probably had a time when you got a new piece of hardware and hooked it up to your system only to find out that you can't get it to work. If you never had one I'll bet you have at least 6 of them right now on your brand new computer. IOS errors are the messages you get at bootup, the failed to load files in the bootlog, and the corrupted font files that cause you to get locked out of Windows(which most people are unaware of). This utility does more then just IOS errors, it finds and removes duplicate fonts updated and repairs system files and more. IOS errors come from crashing your system, installing new software or hardware, even reinstalling Windows causes files to fail to load, or corrupts fonts and other files. Just take a look at your bootlog, you'll see a real mess there and you will have no idea how to start to fix the errors. RegRepair 2000 is so simply to use it does it all for you, prompts you every step of the way and tells you what it is doing why the file has an error and then fixes it (not like RegClean). In fact RegClean can not do what RegRepair 2000 does.
RegSnap is a tool that can help you analyze changes made to the Windows Registry. With it, you can compare saved snapshots and learn which keys were modified, deleted, or added. You can also analyze other sensitive system parts, such as a list of files in Windows and Windows System directories, win.ini and system.ini files, and autoexec.bat and config.sys files.

Advanced Registry Tracer (ART, formely RegFix) is an utility designed for analyzing the changes made to Windows Registry - by making the "snapshots" of it and keeping them in the browsable database. You can compare any two snapshots and get the list of keys/data which are new, deleted or just changed. ART can do comparing not only in the entire Regisrty, but also in any key of the Registry. It is also possible to exclude any keys of the Registry from compare results. Moreover, you can create undo/redo files (for example, to rollback the changes). To view the current state of a key, or to modify it, you can use Jump to Regedit function. Contents of any key can be exported to *.reg file.
The Registry Drill examines every Key in the Registry in order to determine if all the correct format requirements are met. In this way, the Registry Drill is able to dig deeper than conventional Registry cleaners are, and it offers the convenience of both a Quick Drill and a more thorough Deep Drill. The Deep Drill can take several hours to go through the Registry, so it is recommended that you start with the Quick Drill and "Search Root Keys". After that, the Drill will clean out stuck and damaged Keys and then compact the Registry for you.

CleanReg scans for the files referenced in the registry and provides and easy method to eliminate the reference. In some cases just the reference should be removed by zapping the name, and in other cases an entire high level key needs to be deleted.
