From Power
Cooler we have two coolers. I will start with the cooper one.
The Power Cooler package is style disappointing: only a Power
Cooler logo on the box, no installation guide. But there is
a bag with thermal grease inside and two abrasive paper sheets
to clean the heatsink base. The heatsink is made entirely
from cooper and displays an average manufacturer quality.
The fins are soldered on the base quite well and the base
is average polished. Not a very heavy heatsink, the main reason
being the small size.
The cooler
looks interesting, but do not expect to outstanding quality.
I presumed the fan is made by Power Color and spins at 5000rpm.
This cooler has a very interesting twin blades design which
it seemed to play an important role in the noise level reduction.
I can not be sure about the rated CFM because we don't have
the proper equipment to test it.
The clip
can be described as good, can be mounted by hand and by screwdriver.
It uses only one hole on every side, but this is not a problem
because the heatsink is not large.
Performance
tests revealed an average cooler with a decent performance
and with a low noise level. I personally suggest this cooler
for mid level overclocking. Price is acceptable and that's
also an important part.
Best choices
are available on the market if you are looking for overclocking
entry level coolers. Considering the cooper design this cooler
didn't perform too good, many other aluminum coolers were
able to do a better job.
